Temperence Flat Dam and Water Bond 2010/03/09 19:28 Karma: 0
There is a great story in today's LA Times on the prospects for construction of Temperence Flat Dam, and the subsequent destruction of key segments of the SJRT, including the Big Sandy Bridge.

It is looking more and more like this is not going to happen because the upcoming water bond vote does not look like it's going to pass. As you can see, Valley agriculture (which I strongly support in the larger sense), has not been shouldering their share of the current Millerton water deliveries, and they admit that they would need help from the cities to cover the cost of Temperence Flat.
