Hello!

I am new to the CCORC. I have been mtn biking for around the last 6 months and i am totally hooked! I am a Junior at Fresno State. I am from Kansas and pretty new to the area. I have hit most of the trails around the area. I have a few buddies at Fresno State that have gone with me a few times... but they cant seem to keep up.. I am looking to see if anyone would be interested in getting a little group together or something to ride a trail like squaw leap, SJRT, buck ridge or any trail in the area this next weekend (Feb 13,14) if the weather is good? I am game for anything and anyone that wouldn't mind me tagging along! If anyone is game, i am game for any trail! I need some people that will push my limits more than what my college friends do! haha

Hi David. Welcome to the group.

I'm interested in doing a ride next weekend if the weather's decent. Right now it looks like Sunday is probably the best chance of good weather. Maybe we can do Sky Harbor or Wellbarn.

Sweet! I know what sky Harbor is but i am not sure about the welbarn one.. is it the middle part of SJRT? I am deff game though! Anybody else wanna join?

Right, Wellbarn is the trail that descends onto the middle of the SJRT. The trailhead is down the road next to Don Fernando's up by Prather.

The weather report is looking good for Saturday or Sunday. I'm starting to get pumped up. I haven't been mountain biking in a while.
