Never having participated in the Big Sandy Race, I have a few questions:

Is Cat 3 the beginner class?

How do I obtain the USAC license number in order to register?

Is anyone interested in doing a shuttle ride (Squaw to Millerton) in order to train before the race?

I am new to the race as well. I would be interested in doing some shuttle rides before the race to train. I think Cat 3 is for the beginners... and it is the shorter route.. dont hold me to that though!

I did sign up for Cat 3, so whatever that is, I'm riding it! I ride the Sky Harbor trail once or twice a week, but would definitely like to get a practice ride (shuttle)on the course.
